3*M AR Old Mountain Farm Armaghan
Photos by: Cheryle Moore-Smith & Wyl Smith
Armie…my beautiful little chubby, red gal. She is actually very dairy under that extra layer of fleshing. She proved to us just how “dairy” she is by slimming down once she was in milk as a first freshener. Unfortunately, by the time I got around to bathing, clipping and photographing her, she had dried off and started working on that fat layer again. I dislike fat goats so much and am very vocal with my disapproval. Because of my disapproval of fat dairy goats, she is a bit of an embarrassment to me. She will stay here at Old Mountain Farm though since I know what a lovely doe she is. She freshened with an impressive first freshening udder and even though she is not friendly, she fell right into the routine of being a stand “Stock Still” little milker. I try to be totally aloof when it comes to markings and colorings, I must admit that I love her color. I also love that she has the darker points to her face just like her lovely dam; “Old Mountain Farm Peris”.
