The first thing you notice about “DB” is that he is a kind and gentle soul just looking for love. However the first thing I noticed about him was when he was only a few minutes old. I picked him up and said to myself, “oh my word, I have never felt a brisket bone that obvious on a newborn kid before”. It was an exciting moment for me. DB had been on my sales list through our entire kidding season but for some reason he flew under the radar and no one paid him much attention. I think it must be that I was secretly hoping he would stay here at Old Mountain Farm. As he matures, I continue to think that retaining him in my herd will prove to have been a wise move. Oh, he may eventually be available again but not until he has sired some kids for me.
