SG 3*M Old Mountain Farm Brinna Quinn 3*D AR1994

"Brinna" was only about 3 hours old when I looked at her and said..."She is not going anywhere. She stays right here at Old Mountain Farm". The way that I think best describes Brinna is the phrase that came to my mind when she was a newborn… as I watched her walk under her dam, I said "That little doe is stylin'". As Brinna was placed Grand Champion Junior Doe and then Junior Champion Challenge winner/Best of Breed in September of 2005, Judge Annette Maze said of her... "This is quite possibly the best junior doe for the breed that I have ever judged. She is the perfect example of symmetry and balance". Brinna did not disappoint me as a first freshener she had a beautiful udder with perfectly placed teats, strong medial, rear udder attachment and lateral attachment. It was really a first freshening picture of udder perfection. Unfortunately we lost Brinna in a terrible kidding situation while both of the vets that we would normally call on were out of state. With no one else to turn to, we had to make the hard decision to euthanize her. I still feel sick with remorse whenever I think back to having to say goodbye to her.
