Wyl’s portable kidding pens come in really handy during kidding season when most herds have a temporary goat population explosion. Most breeders are always wishing for more pens.

These pens go together easily with no tools needed. The fit together like an easy to complete puzzle and pieces are then locked into place with wooden pegs.

They break down just as easily and don’t take up much storage space.

We started using these pens here in order to separate a expectant doe or for kids that need to be separated for any reason or if there is a goat that needs to be separated temporarily for special healthcare. Really anytime that any goat needs to be separated from the herd and space is limited.

We have even set these pens up in our basement when a goat was ill and needed to be in a quiet private environment out of the cold weather.

Since all the sides easily come off of the base and the base is an enclosed “tray”. Clean up is easy and once the pen is broken down and put away, you would never know there had been one there.
